DIY Tulip Stamp for an Embroidery Hoop
Ink Stamping onto Fabric
Needle painting Tulips and Embroidering with Satin Ribbon
Card captor Sakura Spring Theme Embroidery
Hello!
Coming in with an embroidery hoop for the First Day of Spring for 2025!
I feel like it's been such a long time since I've gotten to post on Instagram but I'm really grateful for those who have stayed with me and continue to grow alongside me as I continue to stitch and create while helping you with tips and tricks!
Today's hoop is utterly by far my favorite creation yet! Not only did this official Card captor Sakura Art scream to me when I caught it at first glance, I couldn't pass the opportunity to miss out on working with thread painting the tulips and I just love working with satin ribbon, it's always a fun project when doing so!
ALSO!
Being able to experiment on a hoop, yet again.
I went ahead and created my own tulip stamp, well attempted, many times, only because I really wanted this hoop to have that adorable, stamped tulip background.
Happy Stitching!
Creating and Stamping the Tulips
I purchased this rubber eraser from a nearby dollar store, this hoop is only an experiment and I wanted to test try how this process would go.
The only carving tools I had accessible to me were my carving tools I used for wood carving way back before embroidering.
Now that I finished creating the stamp, I practiced with acrylic paint to see how the stamp looked.
I took a trip to Michael's craft store and purchased a light green and pink stamping ink. Since I really liked how the second stamp looked, I went ahead and started to generate an idea on how I'll be creating the background for this embroidery hoop onto the fabric.
Completed!
Thank you all for coming to the end of the tutorial! I hope you all learned and are inspired to use more multimedia techniques when it comes to your embroidery hoops!
